I had more time today, so I am happier with the result!  The project is halfway done!! Hooray! 

This drawing looks 25% like Ryan Gosling.

What I Learned About Ryan:

*Gosling looks more like Gosling when he is outdoors, squinting at the sun.  Find more photos like this to draw from!!!

*Gosling has a very masculine, usually slightly scruffy, neck.

What I Learned About Drawing:

*I think I finally got the squint right, and the squint is the KEY to Gosling drawing.

* I am getting faster at drawing these and more carefree.

What I learned about Tumblr:

*Despite the spacing looking right when I type it in this box here, it is always all screwed up when I post it onto the blog.  Next time, I am using blogger to post a project like this…

This drawing looks 65% like Ryan Gosling.  FTW!  So happy with this Gosling, but I am scared about tomorrow’s Gosling… will it measure up to today’s Gosling?  Will I be able to find another squint-tastic photo of Ryan to draw from?  Will my hand get tired from drawing all of his beard hairs?  Tune in tomorrow to find out!
